Cute little cafe with sandwiches, pies, and coffee based drinks. Has a nice laidback atmosphere.
Fresh lemonade anyone? They have a bunchLatte, pastry or breakfastA great place to stop near the bosqueWorthy of a stop
Had two of our bikes serviced job well done!
Angela was one of the sweetest, quickest and attentive baristas I've met in the state of New Mexico, I'm definitely coming back for more delicious coffee and good customer service.
We saw this cafe near the Alameda Bosque bicycle trail and knew we had to try it. The staff is very friendly. Pastries and quiches are delicious, and quiches come with a side salad that is very fresh. They serve an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, lunch items and desserts that look divine, too - so we’ll be back. The cold brew coffee and herbal teas are great.
I e-bike to KICKSTAND every Tuesday on my one day off to read my daily newspaper, fo its crossword and jumble puzzles while sipping on the cafe's wonderful freshly brewed coffee between bites of a green chili quiche or a pressed veggie Cuban panini.Great place to recharge with great, friendly, service and yummy food!KICKSTAND also has generously let me share my 1st published books DRIVE THE SUN & SOLAR MOBILITY!
Didn't live up to the hype in other reviews. It took about half an hour to get our food and I thought it was mediocre at best. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and was pretty disappointed. It was pretty bland and came with a whole bunch of mayo on it - would've liked to have seen that listed in the ingredients on the menu so I could've ordered it without (not a mayo hater, but for me it was too much/unexpected/unwanted). My friend had a breakfast burrito that came out with what looked like Pace salsa and canned green chile. That might fly outside of New Mexico, but I feel like they need to step up their game. With so many good chile and salsa options locally, it's pretty disappointing. Sad because the location is great, especially if you're on a bike (right off the bosque trail). If I came back, I'd probably stick to pastries and coffee. Service was friendly but was hoping for more food wise. Coffee was good. Bike in coffee is worlds better (IMO) if you're looking for a cafe directly off the bike path. I'd give Kickstand Cafe 2.5 stars if that was an option.
Cute place to stop in when in the neighborhood on weekends, good bevs and food. The 3-stars is from this visit due to how difficult they make it to get an...
Late afternoon visitSo we had lemonade. Fresh squeezed and delicious Nice location just off AlamedaGood place for a sit down coffeePastries looked...
We rented e-bikes for the afternoon & had a ton of fun! The staff was super friendly & helpful. It was great being able to try out the bikes before purchasing some from them.
This place is amazing! The food is great, the staff, and the most amazing trails and scenery. Took my family for an amazing bike ride and the experience was great. Recommend this place for families that want to get some food and go for a ride!
Found this gem off of Alameda!! Perfect location and staff. We bought a few e-bikes! Happy to buy local, where we can also have them help us in person if we need . Everyone was helpful and hands on!
Huge thanks to this great place!! If you want a great family place, this is the spot! Get ready for a summer!! Great employees!
We had an absolute blast! We make a family adventure out of renting the e-bikes! The team was so helpful and we look forward to making a purchase of our own!
Really nice place to get a drink and hangout.
I had my E-bike serviced ...hands down best place in town together your e-bike taken care of .it's running like new !
Food is okay. Coffee is just okay. Location is great.
Easy to access cafe with limited parking, seating inside and out. Outdoor seating can get noisy due to traffic. Lively and relational wait staff seem truly concerned that you enjoy your order. Menu is perfect for a quick bite in between hikes or if renting a bike next door.
I loove this place! It's comfy, inviting and the attention and yummy pastries are awesome.
Such a unique spot. Def. recommend stopping by for a bite to eat.
Very good dark roast coffee, friendly staff, fun stuff to browse.
My new favorite bike and coffee spot in town. I visited Kickstand Cafe for the first time two weeks ago, and highly recommend it! The employees were friendly and the service was efficient and done so with nothing but a willingness to provide exceptional service. Definitely going to be a repeat customer here.
Great place to end a ride or run. We had a large group and were served in timely manner. The food was fantastic. Love the vibe.
Great food and coffee. Very friendly staff. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.
What an absolutely delightful place. We found Kickstand Cycles because I needed a bike rack. Not only did they have exactly what we wanted in stock, they called back and were helpful and friendly. Then we went in and saw their cafe and coffee shop. Since it was coffee time, we tried their breakfast burritos and caramel coffees. They were absolutely terrific. Great flavor, freshly prepared and the temperature of the coffee was perfectly drinkable - hot but not so hot that you had to wait. But as good as the food and drink were, the people here were even better. Very, very pleasant, friendly, helpful and conversational. The price on the bike rack was certainly fair and Derrick and Will were very helpful. They have a good selection of bikes here as well as eBikes - if I had to buy a new bike I would definitely look here first. This is the kind of Andy Griffith Show customer service that you usually don't get any more. I will absolutely return just for the great service although there were a bunch of desserts in the cooler that were calling my name. The breakfast burritos and coffee were great, too. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
I can't say enough about the staff at Kickstand. I ordered a bike from another vendor on line and had it shipped to Kickstand for assembly. The assembly was perfect and Derrick even came in on a Monday even though they were closed so I could get on my bike and roll. I then called him an hour later because I couldn't turn the bike back on. He patiently walked me through the steps and off I went, riding and rolling.
The food is amazing. It is always fresh. Staff is amazing at answering questions as well. It’s fun to see the electric bikes.
I bought a e-bike from the previous owners and it came damaged and missing a tail light and had a bent screw. I contacted them multiple times for 7-8 months and always got some excuse or was told it was on the way of some other non-answer.The last call I found out the business was bought out. Great. Just wonderful......I spoke to Derek whom had bought the business and also assumed the debt. In a few weeks I had the light and am finally satisfied. Thank you Derek for taking the extra steps and completing my purchase.
I made this my morning breakfast spot while in Albuquerque for a short trip and was very happy with that decision. The staff were very friendly and the food was nicely portioned. Great hot chocolate too!
Such a cute and quaint Cafe... it may be a hole in the wall but the atmosphere is definitely eccentric with a touch of home
This is a cute little place (restaurant and bike shop!)We stopped in for early lunch. I had a BLT with avocado. It was well done and tasty. My husband had...
Such a great cafe - perfect location for cyclists. The chai latte and apple turnover were delicious! Also loved the decor and how friendly all of the staff are.
Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Good place to go for coffee and a dessert. More than 1/3 of the menu items require tortillas and they were out of...
Simple and fresh. I love that they don't overcomplicate recipes, but rather let good ingredients shine. Really quick and friendly service.Nice couch lounging areas, too.
Love to kick start my mornings at this sweet little happy gem. The service is off the charts and the quality of the breakfast options are so fresh &...
I love this place. Its a little pricey but the people make up for it. Easy parking. Nice electric bike shop attached.
Great food and friendly service in a nice modern cafe
Bright and clean and very friendly. Nice menu with varied selections. The quiche was a little dry but the delicious side salad made up for it. Definitely will go again.
We had a wonderful morning on e-bike rentals. We biked in the bosque and also on the bike path. These guys were totally fun and chill and generous with info’ for bike buyers and renters. Cafe and parking were ideal! Great morning activity for us! Thanks!
This place is awesome, had lunch there today. The food was great, lemonade was incredible and the place looks so cool.
Loved the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich - the eggs were fabulous. The size of the lemonade serving was definitely worth the price and the raspberry mocha was also great. It’s also in a nice location, the decor is really cute, and the fresh flowers on every table was a nice touch. Additionally, everyone was really friendly. Will definitely be back!
The blood orange lemonade was really tasty. The eggs in the breakfast burrito were very flavorful and creamy
Airy pleasant place. Unusual drink selection. Employees helpful and attentive.
Delicious lemonade. Good food
Love this place. Super friendly staff!
Very enjoyable meal. The outdoor patio was a nice place to relax and enjoy brunch. The food was exceptionally prepared and delicious.
Very friendly people and breakfast was great.
The Kickstand Cafe is conveniently located near the north end of the Bosque bike trail. We had the breakfast sandwich and burrito, which were quite filling. The croissant was very light and fluffy. The coffee was very good too. We plan to stop by regularly!
Cute place I visited this past weekend, I think it was the owner but he was walking around and being very kind with everyone. I also loved the vegan tacos :)
Great options offered for Vegan Chef's Challenge July 2022. The BBQ jackfruit is so good. Thanks. Very cute setting too.
Try the lavender iced latte!
Love it here. The pastries are always delicious, and they make the absolute fluffiest eggs ever.
This place was so welcoming and the staff were very kind. The menu options for breakfast were wonderful. I absolutely recommend the avocado toast! We had options to sit inside or outside with shade. Such a great spot, will return again!
Great atmosphere, great customer service and great food. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options. I have a gluten allergy and have NEVER been able to find a gluten free chantilly cake and they have one and it’s AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend. Love this place
Incredible service, we were greeted at the door. I came for the vegan chef challenge and the vegan tacos were fantastic. The vegan lemon cake is one of the best vegan desserts I've ever had. And the fresh squeezed peach mango lemonade was very refreshing! I will be back 😁
Have nothing bad to say about this place, it was my first time here and I let the woman behind the counter know what I typically like in a coffee, and she handed me the best coffee that I've ever drank. I actually had to order a second one to go just before I left. I'll be back, highly recommend, the food was good too! Vegan and some gluten friendly options too!
Beautiful, clean and unique cafe. They have the cutest outdoor dining. Food is amazing, this is definitely going to be a regular spot for me.
We've ordered delivery via an app several times. The packaging everything comes in is really nice. They clearly put extra effort and care into this. We've had the chicken salad sandwich, quiche, and turkey breakfast sandwich. These all were excellent. We also ordered a burrito, which was fine. Not my favorite burrito ever. The potato salad is top notch too.All in all this is becoming a fast favorite we look forward to visiting in person.
Great local spot! Perfect place to relax and refuel after our ride. 👍
Went here after my run today, great options and close to the trail! Glad I stopped by!
Two things stand out here: outstanding friendly service and excellent food quality. The staff and owner greet everyone with a smile and go out of their way to make you have an enjoyable experience. The avocado toast is a favorite: good size and has great flavors, especially the homemade savory jam and feta. The turkey, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich gets bonus points for being on a delicious croissant rather than plain bread, and also for the eggs being made to order (add green chili!). The Americano was smooth and not bitter at all. The only thing missing is a great cold brew, which I'm hoping will come as the weather warms up. Will definitely be back!
If you are looking for a charming cafe to study or great breakfast/lunch after a bike ride, this is just the spot for you. They have great food and coffee, and the staff is kind and attentive. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend coming; you won't be disappointed. 10/10 recommendation.
The food is incredible, and the environment is very nice to be around. I recommend the potato salad, it is the best I have ever had!
This has become one of our favorite places! Everything is fantastic--the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the location. Everything we've tried has been outstanding. Yesterday my daughter and I shared the BLTA because the portions are generous. The sandwich was great, but the potato salad that came with it was so good that it felt like we were having dessert. We also appreciate that it's super easy to reach by bike. It's across from the Alameda trailhead so the Bosque Trail takes you right there. 🚲
Great location, great snacks! But, a real coffee (espresso) machine should be on your improvement list. Nespresso is better than keurig, but it's not espresso.
Love this place! Perfect stop on a bike ride. Delicious breakfast. Loved the sausage and egg tacos served with guacamole. Coffee was great! So welcoming-nice vibe. Highly recommend!!
Friendly staff, fantastic vibe, strong coffee, and a delicious breakfast sandwich and tacos! We are adding Kickstand Cafe to our great places to bike rotation! I would recommend crossing at the bike trail underpass rather than at the Alameda/Rio Grande Blvd intersection. The light allows cars to turn left onto Alameda with the walk signal across Alameda. This did not seem very safe.
Ordered Quiche and some pastries to go. The Quiche was COLD and we asked to hold the salad but was charged the same price.
What a lovely new local café! The indoor space is large and comfortable. Perfect for groups or an intimate coffee date. The patio tables are sufficient for two. I had a BLT and it was fantastic. The lemonade comes in large fun cups with straws and sliced lemons. Their merchandise is high quality and locally themed with varied items from t-shirts to mugs. The owners are friendly and involved as they're open to feedback and conversation. Would recommend!
This is a great little neighborhood place. We are able to walk here from our house. Good food and good coffee.
Very cute cafe with solid desserts
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The fruit salad was fantastic they had a variety of berries and fruits and they were all fresh. I got a Cubano and took half home after eating my fill.
This place is amazing! The food is delicious, the staff are so sweet and it’s very reasonably priced. Me and my cousin came here on a whim for brunch and we loved it. Will definitely be going back! 10/10
