This place has such a cool vibe the green Chile quiche is soooo good and raspberry mocha is the best!
This was a first date, a match-up. Great place for a quiet meeting. Comfortable. All we had were two coffees. Delicious!
No tiene todo lo que menciona en el menú de comidas, pero el café es delicioso y es café de verdad
So cute! Fast, friendly service and a good variety of yummy treats. I had the yogurt parfait and it was so fresh.
Cute place, prefect stop for cycling, nice patio, good coffee.
The employees were very friendly and my coffee was delicious. I will be back. Plus it's conveniently located in the same building as the cycle store and repair shop.
Cyclists and coffee. Where you find one you'll more than likely find the other. Kickstand Cafe has one of the best locations which is nearly across the street from the Alameda Open Space parking lot. It's great to run over and grab a coffee before, during, or after your ride. For me, it's a great halfway point. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before making my way back home. The cafe is very charming and comfortable inside. The dessert case always looks amazing. I haven't explored the rest of their menu. Just caffeine for me, please. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The folks working inside are always really friendly. Even when they are obviously overwhelmed. They crank out orders with a smile. There's also a bike shop attached. I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there. They open at 8, which might be kinda late for those of use trying to get a ride in before the temperature rises. I really dig this place. Besides being extremely convenient, it's a great place to hang out.
I wanted to like this place.Everything I ordered they were out of. My mocha took 30 min. My husband ordered decaf Americano sadly after a long wait out of that too. There were dishes piled all over the counters. It seems maybe understaffed not sureIt could be a hot bicycle spot for folks on a Sunday.
I feel bad for the 2 that were working when wife and I came on our first visit they were being trained and trying to deal with the rush they had. They were both super apologetic which they didn't have to do. I do wish they had more food options other than the stuff from chocolate maven. Maybe of they added some parfait or avocado toast or even oatmeal would be a little bit better of variety.
Cute little cafe with sandwiches, pies, and coffee based drinks. Has a nice laidback atmosphere.
Fresh lemonade anyone? They have a bunchLatte, pastry or breakfastA great place to stop near the bosqueWorthy of a stop
Had two of our bikes serviced job well done!
Angela was one of the sweetest, quickest and attentive baristas I've met in the state of New Mexico, I'm definitely coming back for more delicious coffee and good customer service.
We saw this cafe near the Alameda Bosque bicycle trail and knew we had to try it. The staff is very friendly. Pastries and quiches are delicious, and quiches come with a side salad that is very fresh. They serve an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, lunch items and desserts that look divine, too - so we’ll be back. The cold brew coffee and herbal teas are great.
I e-bike to KICKSTAND every Tuesday on my one day off to read my daily newspaper, fo its crossword and jumble puzzles while sipping on the cafe's wonderful freshly brewed coffee between bites of a green chili quiche or a pressed veggie Cuban panini.Great place to recharge with great, friendly, service and yummy food!KICKSTAND also has generously let me share my 1st published books DRIVE THE SUN & SOLAR MOBILITY!
Didn't live up to the hype in other reviews. It took about half an hour to get our food and I thought it was mediocre at best. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and was pretty disappointed. It was pretty bland and came with a whole bunch of mayo on it - would've liked to have seen that listed in the ingredients on the menu so I could've ordered it without (not a mayo hater, but for me it was too much/unexpected/unwanted). My friend had a breakfast burrito that came out with what looked like Pace salsa and canned green chile. That might fly outside of New Mexico, but I feel like they need to step up their game. With so many good chile and salsa options locally, it's pretty disappointing. Sad because the location is great, especially if you're on a bike (right off the bosque trail). If I came back, I'd probably stick to pastries and coffee. Service was friendly but was hoping for more food wise. Coffee was good. Bike in coffee is worlds better (IMO) if you're looking for a cafe directly off the bike path. I'd give Kickstand Cafe 2.5 stars if that was an option.

We rented e-bikes for the afternoon & had a ton of fun! The staff was super friendly & helpful. It was great being able to try out the bikes before purchasing some from them.
This place is amazing! The food is great, the staff, and the most amazing trails and scenery. Took my family for an amazing bike ride and the experience was great. Recommend this place for families that want to get some food and go for a ride!
Found this gem off of Alameda!! Perfect location and staff. We bought a few e-bikes! Happy to buy local, where we can also have them help us in person if we need . Everyone was helpful and hands on!
